The Geometries
of Love
Measuring the heads in the
sand speaking of the women between waves sighting the sparrowhawks on the phone
wires which evoke a geometry of darkness beneath clouds which gather above the
Pacific ocean.
Erasing finally the figures
of ghosts speaking the measurements of hawk wings stretched between buildings
where women figure the geomety of wires which buzz like tongues rolling on the
waves of the Pacific ocean.
Figuring to evoke and
interpret the ghosts which devise the paths through past measurements of grains
of sand in which the heads of hawks speak of the geometrical women who lived
through the difficult years outside of all measurements calibrated to the rhythms of the Pacific ocean.
Erasing all memories of the
capitulation of love, survived only by the hidden emanations of love’s
eternally geometric, ironic darkness as it spreads arhythmically across the
Pacific ocean.
